Last week Manchester hosted an inauguration of Poker Academy lecture series. According to the poker magazine Bluff Europe the next city to host this incredible event will be Birmingham.
Birmingham will host this event in the Broadway Plaza entertainment hub just minutes from the city centre. This Casino offers UK’s finest card rooms.

At this event amateur players can learn from poker pro’s like Dave ‘Devilfish’ Ulliott or Paul ‘Action’ Jackson. They are assisted by the poker author Alex Rousso all the time.

It will be a one day event and it will consist in three hours of interactive lectures and then four hours of tournament play will follow. All those tournaments are going to be supervised by a professional player.
The first lecture will be the theory of the crucial concepts in professional poker and also its luck and variance.

After that theory part the practice will come. We are talking about a £ 25 no-limit hold’em tournament, where Rousso, Ulliott and Jackson will captain separate teams. During the game the three poker pro’s will give the players some advise and then the winners will play against those poker pro’s.
It’s a great opportunity to learn a lot from the best players in town and to have fun of course.

After Birmingham, the next city that will host the Poker Academy will be Dublin. It will take place on May 16th and a week later the Academy will move again, and this time to London, where it will be at the Casino at the Empire.
